Charity Williams is a licensed clinical social worker (SW 21613) in Florida, Vermont (089.0135432TELE), South Carolina (TLS391CP). and a Active Licensed graduate Social Worker in Minnesota (31443). She has a Masters degree in Social Work from Capella University as well as a Masters in Science from Florida State University. She is a certified Nurturing Parenting Facilitator, a Certified Anger Management Specialist, a Certified Batterers Intervention Specialist, a Youth Mental Health First Aid Instructor and also a EMDRIA approved EMDR therapist. She is also in the process of pursuing her play therapy certification, trained in TF_CBT, Seeking Safety, and the Duluth Model. She takes a trauma informed approach to her counseling style. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers, the National Anger Management Association, the Association of Play Therapy, the Hendry Glades Opioid Consortium, and the Hendry Glades Sexual Abuse Response Team. She has spent the past twenty years working with families in our local communities to help them through their crisis’s. She works with ages 5 to 100 in both Fort Myers and Labelle. She takes a multi-methodology approach to counseling with using multiple interventions that suit the clients individual needs. She works to help her clients overcome the barriers that are standing in the way of their journey.
